	FEES LIBERIA PROGRAM

As of October 3, 2007 there has been a fee increase of $500 for
placement fee and $250 for child provision fee. We no longer have
the orphanage donation, but that amount has been added to the
placement fee. If you are in process, have an accepted application
on file with us, or your application is postmarked October 3, 2007,
you will be charged according to the old fee schedule. If you need
a copy of that fee schedule, please e-mail a request to
hollyann@addyshope.com.

Please note when fees are due. We ask that you not accept a
referral if you are unable to pay the fees when due unless you
have reached an agreement with an Addy’s Hope staff member.
There are some exceptions that can be made, but please realize
that these fees are what pay for the children’s food and care.

**Due to the risks involved in
African Adoptions, the first three
fees in the fee schedule will be
held in escrow with the ministry
until the completion of the
adoption(s). If the adoption(s) fails
for a reason liable to the agency,
the first three fees listed below will
be 100% refunded with our
sincerest apologies. The
tax-deductible orphanage donation
is non-refundable.

Example of Sibling Fee's
If you are adopting 2 siblings fees
would include $250 application fee,
$5500 for the adoption fees and
$3500 ($1750 +$1750) child care
fees. Making the total fees $9250.

Example of 2 unrelated children's
fees. $250 application fee $5500
for the adoption fee, $2000 for
additional unrelated child fees,
$3500 (1750 + $1750 child care
fees). Making the total fees
$11250.

USCIS will increase the fee
schedule, effective July 30, 2007.
The I-600A Advance processing for
Orphan Petition fee will increase to
$750 for filing and will include one
biometric (fingerprinting).
Additional biometrics for each
person 18 or older living with the
petitioner will be $80.

SERVICE	DESCRIPTION	FEE
Application Fee	Applications are required to begin working with Addy's Hope Adoption and Child Relief Ministry. Basic program questions can be answered prior to submitting an application	$250.00 Due with application
Placement Fee This fee is per adoption NOT per child ** If 2 or more UNRELATED children are being adopted there is an additional $2000 fee per unrelated child.	This fee covers all foreign legal expenses including finalization in Liberia. This also covers administrative costs here in the United States	$5500.00 How this is paid ... $2750 due when Liberian court decree is issued. $2750 due when Embassy field Investigation is done.
Child Care and Provision Fee *This fee is per child	This fee is used to care for your referred child providing food, clothing, medicine and other provisional care.	$1750.00 (Children 2 and over) or $2250.00 (Children under 2) Children under 2 require formula which is more expensive. This fee is due when you accept a referral of a child or children
**The following fees	are miscellaneous	paid to outside organizations.**
Home Study Fee	Country requirements will be provided to home study provider.	$1000.00 - $2000.00
Post Placement Fee	Post placement report required by state law will be completed.	$100.00 - $300.00
BCIS	Immigration requirements provided by the U.S. Government.	$545.00 (I600) $70.00 fingerprints per person (AFTER JULY 30) $750 (I600) this includes 1 fingerprint set. Additionaly people to be fingerprinted $80 per person. An additional fee will be charged by the Embassy for Visas
Notary/ Certificate Fees	All documents will have to be notarized and must be originals. Documents such as marriage licenses and birth certificates must be certified copies. Most states and counties charge a nominal fee for such paperwork.	$200.00 (this is an approximate cost and will vary according to the number of necessary documents and the current rates).
Travel Expenses (if you choose to travel)	Expenses such as lodging, air travel food, etc . . .	$5000.00 (this is approximate and will vary according to current rates).
Escort Fee (if you choose to have your child escorted to a major U.S. city)	An escort will bring your child to a predetermined major U.S. city for you to pick up.	$1,000.00 fee plus airline (for escort and the child(ren), food, and hotel costs for escort. Receipts will be presented. Rates will vary.
U.S. Finalization	We recommend that you hire a U.S. Attorney in your area to finalize the adoption in a U.S. Court.	$1000.00 - $2,500.00
